just to bring you up to date...
well well well, livejournal we meet again, it's been what? two months? Well you are as evil as ever because i had written another entry and you decided to spazz out on me and delete it. So i have this one. Either way, things are still going well. I have a week to relax and rejuvenate before going back for my third quarter at UCLA. I spose i'll try to make at least one summing up entry here per quarter. People do enjoy reading about others lives, i know i do. I guess it makes people feel like they are still in touch with old friends even though they really are becomeing quite distant. I must say, this whole college thing makes it tough to keep in touch with old friend who've moved away. not impossible, just tough. I could write epics on this subject, but i digress. Sufice it to say, this last quarter has been interesting. New friends, wonderful new experiences, college is everything i could have hoped it would be and more. Despite the statistic that says most college freshman decline in their faith and spirituality in thier first year, i feel ever closer to God though Campus Crusade for Christ, my dorm bible study, and daily reading. All of it is just so enjoyable. So college is going well, and college related stuff is really all that is going on these days. So i'll end here. i guess thats that until summer... College Dead Ahead!!!
Well this is it. my last night where my official home is...well the same place its been for the past 18 years. tomarrow i become totally moved in to my dorm at UCLA and i meet the guys that will be my roommates for at least the next 3 quarters. Im quite excited, i really just cant wait for classes to start so i can really be immearsed in the college life. Im sure, though, that somewhere in the back of my mind lurks some trepidation as to what shall befall me in the coming months but i simply wont think of that now. But its really not as permanent or foreboding as i make it out to sound. Ill still come back to the valley quite a bit. Ill still stick with my current church and visit my family and friends back here but i will also be open to all the new experiences and callings that God will have for me throughout my college career. to think, my next update will be from my laptop on the UCLA campus! well...then again considering how often i update, it may very well be after i have already graduated and will be at my office while my supervisor isnt looking at my screen. Anyway, fare all thee well, im sure anyone who is reading this is a friend that has in some part influenced me into the person i am today and for that i thank you. Good luck and Good bye! One day we shall meet again so i bid adieu...until then Current Mood: accomplished | | Monday, August 29th, 2005 | | 4:54 pm |

yay
Wow, this has been an incredible summer. For those of you that dont already know, and are wondering about the vagueness of my last entry, i am curently dating the most wonderful girl on the face of the planet, dare i say in the whole UNIVERSE!!! although i cannot speak for the whole universe, i hear there are very nice young ladies around neptune, but since ive not met them, and the fact that Chelsey Noelle Hudson is such a great gal i have to say that she is far better than any neptunian or any other alien creature (no offense to the neptunians that read livejournal). I thank God every day for being blessed just to have met her. anyway, im sure this makes very little sense to very many of you so i'll move on. looking forward to Hume lake next week! its gonna be so cool coming back. i feel like ive matured so much since the last time i went a few years back so i look forward to seeing it in a whole new light, from a different angle. plus i'm going with all my new Christ Community friends. this has definately been the year of meeting new people. and what a great bunch of people i've met. plus i start getting paid in a couple weeks. its about time and this time they have plenty of funds to pay me with so no more "terminated for lack of funds" business. BEARY GOOD FRIENDS is coming soon to a Granada Theatre near you (there is only one and it is on Chatsworth and Lindley). all tickets are purchased by reservation only and the phone number is (818) 363-6887 itll be a great show. im helping with the stage managing and am involved in every rehearsal and it is turning out great! well this summer in general is just turning out great. Its just starting to sink in that Granada Hills Charter High School has come and gone. That i wont be seeing some people anymore. That im gonna be travelling to essentially a brand new world this fall. looking through my yearbook and pictures from this past year i can really feel a pain for all im leaving behind but also anticipation for all that is coming soon. I know that God will lead me in the right direction and i pray to always stay on His path. I thank Him everyday for all that He's done for me so far. in all my highs and lows, He has been there. He has picked me up during the lows and watched lovingly as i enjoyed the highs. For everything i thank Him. sorry about the long post but that is what happens when i wait so long in between posts, until the next one... i'd have to say, out of all the days in history, my favorite have got to be 9/14/04, 7/3/05, and 7/5/05. those were some pretty great days. Alright, that is all. Vague, no? Current Mood: ecstatic just isnt happy enuf | | Thursday, June 30th, 2005 | | 12:11 am |
Cause I'm bored and apparently am also obligated to post this in my journal
1. Reply with your name and I will write something I like about you. 2. I will then tell what song reminds me of you. 3. If I were to apply an o'clock to you, I'll tell you what it would be. 4. I will try to name a single word that best describes you. 5. I'll tell you the most memorable moment I've had with you. 6. I will tell you what color you remind me of. 7. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you. 8. Put this in your journal Current Mood: bored looks very sad...why? | | Wednesday, June 15th, 2005 | | 9:29 pm |

Can you believe it?
All right, this is just absurd. I saw this on the Tonight Show when Jay Leno did his "headlines" routine. This is a real headline that someone sent it. When i saw it i knew then and there just how bad society has gotten and how far we've run from the God who created us. i just can't believe it. and i wouldnt at all be surprised if the brothel wins the case. so people who go to church are now considered "the wrong sort of people?" well thats that. i spose i could rant and rave even more about this, my lj never does attract any drama. too bad. another time perhaps. until then... YAY!!! i am officially going to UCLA! i have my grades for this year and everything worked out. That just goes to show how trusting in God to get things done always works out. Well thats it for my update...oh wait, one more thing Cause i just gotta: List your current six favorite songs, then pick six other people to do the same. 1. "as good as i once was"-Tobey Keith 2. "Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On"-Neal McCoy 3. "Alcohol"-Brad Paisley 4. "Dont ask me how I know"-Bobby Pinson 5. "Bless the broken road"-Rascal Flatts 6. "Back When"-Tim McGraw No particular order, i merely like these songs that i currently am hearing. Anyway, as per the second part of this madate willed to me by a certain someone who shall remain nameless...you know who you are! Anyway i shall now beseech the following people to perform this menial and superfluous task of choosing songs and people. 1. Kim Stover 2. Chelsey 3. Karen 4. Elizabeth Sutlian/Butler 5. Sean 6. Pamela there, thats it. until the next time someone tells me to do something... Current Mood: ecstatic | | Monday, June 6th, 2005 | | 1:27 pm |

Graduation!
Wow, one more week and BAM! I'm outta here. Away from home, off to college. A whole new world out there. Normally this would be the time to wax poetic about how i'm going to miss everybody and how weird it is getting ready for such a big shift in life but its 11 at night and ive been working hard to make sure i still have the grades to let me stay that the college i want to go to. So another time then. until then...188 hours til graduation (as of now, dont ask me to keep updating every hour, it isnt gonna happen. so just do the math and see for yourself. june 2, 7 pm so begins the end of high school. so long and thanks for all the fish...the song?
well i saw The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy today. what to say, what to say...it was...something all right. It had its moments in fact it had a lot of moments many of which were utterly awful and occasionally painful to watch. On the brief intances in which it didnt completely deviate from the storyline of the book it was actually quite enjoyable but for the rest of the time i equate its awfulness with ten times that of listening to a vogon poetry slam right in the front row. ugh, anyway i wouldnt want to deter you from seeing the movie but i just wish to warn the avid hitchhiker fans out there to beware the wrath of uninspired and generally stupid directors. That is all. So long, and thanx for all the fish. Current Mood: quixotic | | Wednesday, April 27th, 2005 | | 3:53 pm |

HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY
Like Christmas, Easter is another holiday that has been way overly-saturated by commercialism. Frankly i have no clue what some bunny running around laying eggs has to do with the Resurrection of my Lord. But i'm fine with the fun little aspects of the day that make it more appealing to young kids, as long as none of us forget what this day is really about. 2000 years ago a man was killed, but this wasnt just any man, and it wasnt just any excecution. It was a death on the cross one of the most painful, humiliating, degrading, and bloody deaths man has ever envisioned and that death paid the price and bore the suffered that we all deserved. He was blameless and we are the sinners, yet God loved each and every one of us so much that He gave up His Son, betrayed into the hands of sinners, to die so that we may live. In that one act of infinate grace, Jesus Christ took on the sins of the past, present, and future. With no transgressions of his own, Jesus was killed and with Him, in the grave, were layed our sins. Then, now listen this is the good part, 3 days later Jesus Christ conquered the grave and rose again. Today is the day that all Christians can take comfort in the fact that we worship a LIVING SAVIOR. He has conquered death and, through Him, so may we. There is no greater hope than the hope that abounds in Christ Jesus. John 3:16-For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE. Current Mood: grateful |
